Redbank Valley Graduate Earns Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering

CHAMPAIGN, IL (EYT) — Dalton Stewart, a 2015 graduate of Redbank Valley High School, has accomplished his Ph.D. in environmental engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (UIUC).

His analysis targeted on the sustainability of biofuels derived from novel crops.

Stewart additionally holds a bachelor’s diploma from Bucknell University and a grasp’s diploma from UIUC, each in environmental engineering. In addition to his educational achievements, he was chosen as a finalist for the distinguished Presidential Management Fellowship, a program designed to develop future leaders in the federal authorities.

Stewart has accepted a fellowship with the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation’s Research & Development Office in Denver. There, he’ll analyze analysis packages that deal with water points in the western United States.
